I’ve always loved flowers and being around plants. A few years ago, I decided that I wanted to try growing my own veggies. I bought seeds and grew tomatoes, squash, lettuces, carrots, potatoes, and more. There were many things I had to learn along the way but my “green thumb” and love for plants made it fairly easy.

This year I started a new garden and it’s going great!
The only negatives were weather. Northern New Mexico springs can bring some late snow. Since, I grow my veggies in a greenhouse, I was able to semi-control the temps.
I’ve had many ask how I do it and they continue with saying that they kill all plants. I honestly just love plants – truly! I’m the crazy lady who talks to them and plays music for them. I genuinely care about them and feel real sadness when they die.

I love sharing the experience with my kids – starting with a single tiny seed and becoming food for our family. What an amazing experience!
Happy gardening ❤
